DPRQ is software, not a regulator

DPRQ is a software platform that helps businesses create, manage, validate, and publish Digital Product Passports and related product information.

DPRQ is not an EU institution, government authority, notified body, certification body, or officially EU-approved provider.

Customer responsibility

The relevant economic operator, manufacturer, importer, or other responsible business remains accountable for the accuracy, completeness, and legal sufficiency of product information and supporting evidence supplied to DPRQ and placed on the market.

Uploading data to DPRQ or publishing a passport does not by itself demonstrate legal conformity with Regulation (EU) 2023/1542, ESPR delegated acts, or other applicable product rules.

Validation and readiness scores

DPRQ validation and readiness scores are software-assisted checks against supported schema rules and configured data points. They help identify missing or inconsistent information.

They are not governmental certification, conformity assessment, or legal approval.

Official EU registries

DPRQ can generate public passport pages, QR codes, JSON, and PDF exports hosted through DPRQ.

Programmatic submission to official EU registries or semantic repositories is not enabled unless and until verified official machine interfaces are integrated and documented separately.

Public, private, and restricted information

• Public passport pages show only public-tier fields selected for publication.
• Uploaded documents and evidence remain private to the organisation unless explicitly linked and permitted for publication.
• Restricted-tier battery and regulatory fields may be stored for legitimate-interest or authority access workflows and are not published on public passports by default.
